Eutelsat I-F Series (e. hemi. list)
(to Western Hemisphere, Eastern Hemisphere, Footprints by Dish Size)

The EUTELSAT I series was developed by ESA (the European Space Agency) as part of the ECS (European Communications Satellite) programme. Once launched and checked out in orbit each satellite was handed to EUTELSAT for commercial operations. The satellites are maintained in orbit by ESA from its Redu earth station in Belgium. Four EUTELSAT I satellites were successfully launched between 1983-88. EUTELSAT I-F1, F4 and F5 are still operating.
